You know about the health issues. You know what needs to change. CHANGE is the key word here. The health issues that lurk around us when we are overweight are many. One of those issues is Diabetes; an issue Emmie of Lexington, SC knew she needed to avoid.
With a history of diabetes in her family along with her weight, Emmie needed to change, and change quick. She was 35, overweight, and finally ready to do something about it.
June 2008, 225 pounds and a “tight” size 20, Emmie decided to CHANGE! She found the right gym, New Life Fitness World.
She educated herself about proper nutrition. She used the Sugar Busters approach (no white flour, sugar, corn or potatoes) and started exercising. “Small goals” she said. She set daily and weekly goals and the pounds started coming off. A great support system at home and the right gym were the only things she needed.
June 2010 at 37 years old, Emmie is an astonishing 125 pounds and a slim size 2. Emmie has asked us to share her work out routine and we were happy to do so.
